The Granite State Power Link proposed on March 28, 2017 by National Grid would bring 1,200 megawatts of Canadian hydroelectricity from Canada to the New England power grid.

The estimated cost of this line is $1 billion and it would stretch approximately 170 miles. Major permits are needed from the New Hampshire Site Evaluation Committee, the Vermont Public Service Board, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
